‘This person should change, I see him as a good friend,' says actress Rini Ann George

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Actress Rini Ann George reiterated that she is not naming anyone personally. She told media that what she said was how a political leader should be like. This person should be reformed, she said.

'When women come forward, society should take over it and understand the truth. When I first came forward on this issue, many criticized me. I said how a political leader should be like. I had no personal interest in his resignation. That is for that party. I still say this person should at least be reformed. I still see him as a good friend. The matter is how a political leader should be in society. I had said earlier that time will prove if I am right. The issue should be investigated. There are more victims. But they are afraid to speak out. A fight for women happened. It is up to that party to take action against him’, said Rini.

Rini Ann George, in an interview with Kaumudy Movies, said that a prominent youth leader has been inappropriate with her. She said that she received objectionable messages from him and that he had harassed many other women and daughters of party leaders.
