15 transwomen including Seema Vineeth joins BJP, accepts membership from  Rajeev Chandrashekar

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president Rajeev Chandrasekhar said new activists from the transgender community are being welcomed to the party. He said the decision is based on his firm belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's political vision of inclusive development.

Social media star and makeup artist Seema Vineeth, along with 15 transwomen took membership from the BJP today. The president welcomed them by draping shawls. Bharatanatyam dancer Adrija and Srikutty Nami were also among those joining the BJP.


'With all, for all,’ is not just a slogan. It is the assurance given by the BJP-NDA front to all Malayalees and a promise for a better tomorrow. I am very happy to welcome the new activists from the transgender community to the party. Behind their decision is their firm belief in Prime Minister Narendra Modiji's political vision of inclusive development. Let us work together to build a strong and developed Kerala,' the BJP president penned by sharing a picture with the transwomen. Seema Vineeth also shared the visuals of accepting membership from the BJP on social media.
