KOCHI: 35 college students in Kochi are now in the hospital after experiencing diarrhoea and vomiting. All are students of KMM College Hostel in Thrikkakara, Ernakulam. Both girls' and boys' hostel students experienced the health scare.

25 girls and 10 boys have been admitted to the hospital. Reports suggest that the water in the tank used by both hostels was contaminated. After receiving the information, the health department arrived at the scene and conducted an inspection. A sample of the water in the tank was sent for testing. The authorities said that the cause of the disease will be clear only after receiving the report.

All students are currently stable, and there is nothing to worry about regarding their health.
