THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Crime Branch has begun its probe into the AKG Centre attack. A team led by Crime Branch DySP Jaleel Thottathil is conducting the investigation. The Crime Branch investigation has begun at a time when one month has passed since the attack on AKG Centre.

The case was handed over to the Crime Branch as the Special Investigation Team (SIT), which investigated for 23 days, was unable to find the culprit. The Crime Branch team, which arrived at the AKG Centre and inspected the site, is planning to re-enact the incident. The Crime Branch team is likely to question those who were questioned by the SIT in connection with the case. Earlier, a controversy had erupted as the police were unable to find the culprit even after a month.
