Baby elephant falls into well in Malayattoor, elephant seen in Idukki again

KOCHI: A baby elephant fell into a well in Malayattoor Friday early morning. The elephant fell into the well of a rubber plantation in Illithottil. A herd of elephants are stationed nearby and so the officials of the forest department are not able to go near the well.

Meantime, an elephant has entered a residential area in Idukki. A housewife who got scared seeing the elephant fell down and sustained injuries. She has been identified as Paltha, a native of B L Ram. She was taken to Theni Medical College.
