KOTTAYAM: Days after her mother’s tragic death, Navami was admitted again to Kottayam Medical College for further treatment. Navami’s mother, Thalayolaparambu native Bindu, was killed after a worn-out building in Kottayam Medical College Hospital collapsed just two days ago.

A team from the Medical College Hospital reached Navami's residence on Monday morning. Navami was admitted to the emergency department CL 3 section. Minister V.N. Vasavan and Kottayam District Collector John V. Samuel visited Navami. The minister and the collector duo also visited Aleena Vincent, a native of Meenangadi, Wayanad, who was injured in the building collapse accident.

Principal Dr. Varghese P. Punnoose, Superintendent Dr. T.K. Jayakumar, and ADM S. Sreejith also met with Navami and deliberated over the expert treatment to be provided. The District Collector submitted the preliminary investigation report of the accident to the government. A detailed report and a comprehensive investigation report will be submitted soon. The Minister and the Collector informed that the government has ensured all facilities, including treatment for Navami.

On Monday, BJP State chief Rajeev Chandrasekhar reached Bindu's residence in Thalayolaparambu and consoled the family members.
