BJP's newly elected Thalassery councillor found guilty in attempted murder case; sentencing tomorrow

KANNUR: BJP's newly elected councillor U Prashanth was found guilty by the court in a case of attempted murder. The Thalassery Sessions Court found all ten accused in the case guilty. The case took place in 2007. The punishment for the accused in the case will be pronounced tomorrow. The disqualification of the appointed councillor will be clarified based on the sentence.
