BLO exhibits nudity amidst work, collector takes action, seeks explanation

MALAPPURAM: Action has been taken against BLO Vasudevan, who got provoked and exhibited nudity amidst work. The district collector ordered to remove him from duty. An explanation has been sought from him in connection with the incident. The district administration has informed that further action will be taken after getting his explanation.

Vasudevan exhibited nudity last Thursday after provoked during an enumeration form collection camp at Tirur in Malappuram. The video of the incident is being widely circulated. Vasudevan exhibited nudity when many including women and children, stood before him to give the enumeration form. Vasudevan can also be heard talking loudly to the person who shot the video.

Vasudevan responded that he did it when a relative with whom he was not in good terms spoke provokingly. He said that he is under work pressure and health issues. His relative who shot the video told Vasudevan that organizing such camps instead of handing over forms at homes, was illegal. This is what led him to exhibit nudity.
