KOCHI: At last, the fire in Brahmapuram has been doused completely by 6 pm evening yesterday. Only on some swamps exists smoke that is still smoldering into the skies. Meanwhile, only time will decide on the toxic fumes and the health issues awaiting the people of Kochi. The air quality index in Kochi has gone to 215.
A detailed study will be conducted by experts to see how the toxic fumes have affected the farms, water, and land bodies of the area.
