THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: With eight cuts in place, the censor board allowed Suresh Gopi’s movie ‘JSK - Janaki. V v/s State of Kerala' to be released in theatres. The Censor Board has approved the re-edited version, and thus, the film will hit the theatres with eight changes. The title of the film and the court scenes have gone through cuts.

The producers agreed to change the name of the film "J.S.K. - Janaki v/s State of Kerala" and also make a major edit to the court scene in the movie. Following this, the new, edited film was presented to the Censor Board. The mention of this name, Janaki, will be muted in the cross-examination scenes. In this regard, the producers, Cosmos Entertainment, had accepted the suggestions put forward by the Central Censor Board in the High Court.

Suresh Gopi plays the role of Advocate David Abel Donovan in the movie. JSK will also mark the return of Anupama Parameswaran to Mollywood after a long hiatus. The movie will also see Suresh Gopi sharing screen alongside his son Madhav for the first time.
