THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A complaint has been filed with the DGP against chief minister's daughter Veena Vijayan and former DGP and BJP leader R Sreelekha in the controversy related to Minister K B Ganesh Kumar. The complaint was filed by youth congress working president Binu Chulli. He alleged that the two hid it despite knowing the seriousness of the crime. Ganesh Kumar's wife Bindu Menon had revealed the other day that she had briefed everything to the chief minister's daughter and R Sreelekha about the things that happened. The complaint was filed following this.
Binu said the name of the state home department should be changed to adjustment department and that no action was taken even though his wife had complained against Ganesh Kumar. Even though the chief minister's daughter and BJP leader Sreelekha knew about the matter, no action was taken. Binu Chulli told media that Veena and Sreelekha were complicit in the crime.
Meantime, Ganesh has decided not to resign over the controversial allegations levelled by his wife Bindu Menon. Ganesh Kumar called Bindu and apologized to her. Bindu clarified that he spoke to her sister yesterday and apologized.
'Ganesh spoke to my sister yesterday as I didn't pick up the phone. He apologized saying that he had made a mistake. I don't want to go legally. What I did yesterday was an emotional reaction. There have been many problems over the years. I am not breaking this relationship. Everyone makes mistakes. The whole world knew about it as he is a minister. The minister doesn't need to apologize to the society for this. He just needs to apologize to me. No more discussions on social media about this. I request this to everyone,' clarified Bindu.
Bindu Menon said the other day that she saw her husband Ganesh Kumar with another woman in a compromising position at his family house in Valakom and that the minister's staff used force against her. Bindu had alleged that she did not get protection from the police even after calling them. She had captured the visuals of the incident. The staff tried to forcibly grab her phone. Bindu also said that when she felt that her life was in danger, she called her sister-in-law, former DGP and councilor R Sreelekha and informed her.
