Couple out to invite daughter’s wedding killed in accident 

ALAPPUZHA: A woman who met with an accident while traveling on a scooter with her husband to invite people for their daughter’s wedding, has died. The accident happened on March 27. The dead is Thulasi S Nair (55), of Thulaseedalam House, Vettiyar in Pallimukku. She died while undergoing treatment at Amrita Hospital in Ernakulam.

The accident happened when their scooter collided with a car at Mankamkuzhy Parakkulangara. Thulasi’s husband, Shashi K Nair (64), had died on the day of the accident itself.

Their daughter’s wedding had been fixed for May 10. Thulasi’s funeral will be held today at 3:30 pm. The couple leaves behind their children Abhishek and Abhirami and daughter-in-law Anila.
