David in Charlie, popular photographer and actor Radhakrishnan Chakyat dies

KOCHI: Radhakrishnan Chakyat, one of the most respected fashion photographers and an actor, passed away Friday morning due to heart attack. He was 53. He played the role of David, Dulquer Salmaan's father, in the film Charlie. Through this, he became a well-known figure to the film audience.

He was mentor of Nikon India. Chakyat was also the founder of Pixel Village, a YouTube platform. He was honored with the All-Kerala Photographers Association (AKPA) Photography Award in 2023.

Chakyat had done photoshoots for leading brands in the country. Chakyat, who had led several classes on topics such as camera and photography, was also active on social media.
