Death from omelette and banana; police registers Vishanthi D'Souza's demise as unnatural death

KASARAGOD: A middle-aged man died from choking after eating omelette and banana from a stall. The incident took place in Badiyadka. The deceased is a welding worker named Vishanthi D'Souza (52). The incident took place around 4:30 pm on Sunday. He experienced difficulty breathing while eating omelette and banana from a stall in Badiyadka, Kasaragod.

Seeing Vishanthi D'Souza struggling to breathe, those present at the spot immediately rushed him to Kasaragod General Hospital, but he could not be saved. The FIR states that the primary cause of death was due to food getting stuck in his throat. The Badiyadka police have registered a case of unnatural death in the incident.

Vishanthi, the only son of the late Pokarail D'Souza and Lily D'Souza, is unmarried. He was working as a helper at a welding stall in Kattathadka.
