Dr Niji Justin to become Thrissur Mayor; A Prasad named deputy mayor 

THRISSUR: Thrissur DCC vice president Dr Niji Justin, who won from Kizhakkumpattukara, will become the mayor of Thrissur Corporation. A Prasad will become deputy mayor. Thrissur DCC President Joseph Tajet while addressing the press said the decision was taken after considering the opinions of the party and councilors.

He informed that no one was left out and that it was a collective decision. Niji responded by saying that she is happy for choosing her on Christmas Day and thanked God.
