KOCHI: The Kerala State Electricity Board (KSEB) disconnected the power supply to the Central GST office in Ernakulam due to non-payment of electricity bills. The employees of the KSEB removed the fuse from GST office in Ernakulam’s Aluva. With this, the functioning of the office is in a crisis. The office had unpaid electricity bill arrears of Rs 70,000. GST officials claimed they had requested more time to pay the dues, and accused KSEB of taking arrogant and high-handed action, leading to a dispute between the two departments.
