Eight-year-old boy dies after car hits bicycle 

ALAPPUZHA: An eight-year-old boy under treatment for injuries sustained after car hits his bicycle, has succumbed to his injuries. The dead is Sahal, son of Abdul Kalam of Neerkunnam Velimparambil. He died early Saturday morning. The accident happened last night near the Punnapra Market on the national highway. The car hit him when Sahal was coming on his bicycle. 17-year-old Ayesha, daughter of Siyad of Punnapra M S Mansil, also sustained injuries in the accident. She is undergoing treatment.
