THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: R. Bindu, the victim of the fake theft case in Peroorkada, has reportedly got a new job. A media outlet reported that MGM Public School has offered Bindu a job. Bindu has been offered a job as a peon. The school authorities went to her house and informed her about this. It is reported that Bindu has accepted the job offer. It is also reported that Bindu will start her new job next Monday.
The Crime Branch report was released yesterday, providing a new twist in the fake theft case. The Crime Branch found that the necklace was not stolen from the house in Peroorkada and that the police had fabricated a false story to trap the maid Bindu.
Omana Daniel, the homeowner with a memory problem, had forgotten the necklace, which was allegedly stolen, under the sofa in her house. The report also states that Omana Daniel later found the necklace herself. She had informed the police about this. The Crime Branch found that the police's claim that the necklace was found in the garbage can behind the house was inaccurate. The report also states that action should be taken against Peroorkada SHO Sivakumar and Omana Daniel.
Omana usually keeps her necklace under the bed. However, on the day of the incident, Omana placed the necklace under the sofa. She then filed a complaint with the police stating that the necklace was missing. Later, during the investigation by the family, the necklace was found under the sofa. However, the police fabricated a false story that the necklace was found in the garbage can to justify taking Bindu into custody and questioning her for a whole day, the report says.
