Financial fraud case in Diya Krishna's firm; Accused Divya Francis surrenders

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The accused in the financial fraud case committed in the establishment of actor Krishnakumar's daughter Diya Krishna, surrendered before the police on Wednesday. Divya Francis, a former employee of the establishment 'Oh by Ozy' owned by Diya, surrendered at the Crime Branch office.

The other accused in the case, Vineetha and Radhakumari, had surrendered at the Crime Branch office on August 1. According to the complaint, the trio used their own QR code to take money from customers, defrauding their employers. While collecting evidence at the shop, Vineetha and Radhakumari confessed to committing the fraud. It is reported that a fraud of Rs 40 lakh was discovered. They used the money to buy gold.

The Crime Branch announced that the scooter and gold purchased with the fraudulent money will be confiscated. The accused, Divya Francis, had gone into hiding after the case was registered.
