Fisherman net two Naga idols of 5 kilos while fishing in Tanur, theft suspected

MALAPPURAM: A fisherman netted two naga idols weighing about five kilos while fishing. The incident happened in Unniyal Azhikkal Beach at Tanur in Malappuram. The idols were found in the net of Russell, Chakkachan's Purakkal, Puthiyakadpuram.


The naga idols made of brass weigh about five kilos. They have been handed over to Tanur police. The police suspect whether the idols were stolen from some temple. They will investigate it. The police are collecting information on the incident.
