Former Chief Minister A K Antony’s brother A K John passes away

CHERTHALA: A.K. John (75), brother of former Kerala Chief Minister A.K. Antony, has passed away. He had served in various capacities, including as a Government Pleader at the High Court, standing counsel for KSFE and Catholic Syrian Bank, and as a member of the governing body of Muttom Co-operative Bank.

He is survived by his wife, Jerli John; son, Joseph John (UK); and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth John (UK). His other siblings include A.K. Thomas Paul (retired Co-operative Registrar), Marykutty Devasia, A.K. Jose (retired Executive Engineer, Maharashtra Electricity Board), and the late Sister Infant Treesa, Rosamma Kurian Kolluthara, and Kochurani Thomas.

The funeral will be held tomorrow at 3 PM at the St. Mary's Church Cemetery in Muttom, Cherthala.
