THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP leader Sandeep Vachaspati is dejected over the Kowdiar road accident that resulted in the death of a newlywed woman. Sandeep was in Thiruvananthapuram to visit his brother’s house when he noticed the traffic snarl near the Sun Homes office. After waiting quite some time in the car, the BJP leader saw people gathering and understood it was more than a normal traffic snarl.

Sandeep got out of the vehicle and moved towards the gathering when he saw three cars and a scooter lying on the road. The victim was lying on the road, soaked in blood. Even after fifteen minutes of the incident, no one came forward to take the injured to the hospital. People were waiting for the police while the onlookers swelled in the area. At this time, Sandeep requested help from the people present there and asked the woman to be shifted to his car so he could rush her to the hospital.

Though the car was stuck behind in traffic, the people helped lift the injured woman and took her inside the BJP leader's car. Sandeep quickly took her to Pattom SUT Hospital, but her life could not be saved. Sandeep is in anguish over the death news as he believes that if the onlookers had rushed her to the hospital earlier, a life could have been saved.
