Empuraan was a much-awaited film that Mohanlal fans and movie lovers have been eagerly waiting for. The film was released today. All the theaters are running in packed houses. Theatre responses and the excitement of fans are being circulated on social media.

Minister V Sivankutty's response to the question of whether he had seen Empuraan is going viral on social media. 'I sent my staff in the morning and called Mohanlal, but could not get him. Mohanlal had come for my son's wedding. So, am getting calls asking if there is any possibility of getting tickets,' the minister said.

A national festival, says Suraj Venjaramoodu
Empuraan is a national festival, responded Suraj Venjaramoodu. ‘This is not a festival of Kerala but a national festival. This festival will come like this once in every six years. I will be in the third part as well. Prithviraj is not a director, but a special robot,' said the actor.

Suchitra Mohanlal's response was that she felt like watching a Hollywood film. Pranav Mohanlal also said that it is a super film. Empuraan is the second part of Lucifer released in 2019. Apart from Malayalam, the film was also released in Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Telugu languages.
