Gold price jumps, rose by Rs 960 today, this month’s highest rate

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There is a major rise in the price of gold in the state today. The price of one sovereign of gold has rose by Rs 960 and has touched Rs 61,840. This is this month’s highest gold rate. Today, the price of one gram of 22-carat gold is Rs 7,730 and the price of one gram of 24-carat gold is Rs 8,433. This is the third consecutive day that gold prices have increased.

Large funds and various central banks are buying gold as a safe investment amid concerns that the global trade war will increase uncertainty. In the current situation, the price of gold in the international market may exceed $ 3,000 per ounce. With this, the price of one sovereign in India may cross 65,000. There has been a 32 percent increase in the price of gold in a year. On January 1, the price of one sovereign was Rs 57,200. In just three weeks, the price of one sovereign has increased by Rs 3,560.

Price of silver today
Along with the increase in the price of gold in the state, the price of silver has also increased. Today, the price of one gram of silver is Rs 107 and the price of one kilogram of silver is Rs 107,000. The previous day, the price of one gram of silver was Rs 106 and the price of one kilogram of silver was Rs 106,000.
