Governor and CM shake hands in tea party after sweating-in ceremony of O R Kelu

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Although they did not look each other during O R Kelu's swearing-in ceremony, the governor and chief minister shook hands and shared friendship at the tea party that followed. The event was also notable for the presence of the opposition.

Apart from the Chief Minister, a good number of ministers also attended the function. Governor Arif Muhammad Khan was serious on the stage. He was not even ready to look at the Chief Minister who was nearby. The people's representatives and officials who came to the ceremony got the impression that the snow has not yet melted.

After swearing in O.R. Kelu shook hands with the Governor. After that, the Governor gestured to Kelu to shake hands with the Chief Minister. Later, when he reached the tea party, the Governor extended a shake hand to the Chief Minister. Both posed for a photo with Kelu's relatives. Leader of Opposition V.D. Satheesan and deputy leader P.K. Kunhalikutty also participated in the function.
