KANNUR: The groom reached hours late for his wedding due to a mistake in sending the location on Google. The wedding was scheduled to take place at a temple in Iritty, Kannur. However, the groom reached a temple in Kozhikode. The groom of Thiruvananthapuram and his relatives were not very familiar with the route. They were following the location on Google Maps. Instead of the temple in Iritty, Kannur, the groom and his family reached another temple 60 kilometers away.
The wedding was to take place at the Keezhoor Mahavishnu Temple in Iritty. The muhurtham was at 10:30 in the morning. The groom and his family were following Google Map and arrived at the Keezhoor Shiva Temple in Payyoli, Kozhikode. When the groom and his family reached there and did not see anyone, they called the bride's family.
They then came to know that they have reached the wrong temple. The people associated with the temple where they reached comforted them by saying that there was nothing to worry about and that there was no obstacle in tying the thali even after the muhurtham. Later, they traveled sixty kilometers to reach the temple in Iritty Keezhoor and tied the thali in the afternoon.
