KOCHI: The Kerala High Court has issued an interim order in the Sabarimala gold theft. The court ordered an investigation if a conspiracy has been hatched in the gold theft. The court will consider the case again on November 15. SP Shasidharan of the special investigation team and vigilance SP Sunil Kumar appeared in the court today. The court proceedings were held in a closed room.
In the investigation report submitted to the court, the officials have detailed the ways chosen by the accused to loot the gold. The interim investigation report submitted to the court clarified the conspiracies carried out in Bengaluru and Chennai, including Unnikrishnan Potty, and where all the gold has gone.
The investigation team had submitted a report to the high court that included the arrest of Unnikrishnan Potty, the possibility of more arrests, and the progress of the investigation so far. The report was submitted based on the instruction to submit the progress of the investigation to the high court every two weeks.
