PATHANAMTHITTA: A helicopter was seen flying low over Sabarimala temple. Coast Guard’s Chetak helicopter flew over the temple at around 11 am on Thursday. Footage of the helicopter flying low over the high security area has been released. Special Commissioner directed ADGP S Sreejith to investigate the incident and submit a report. The Coast Guard has explained that it flew this way because it faced a technical issue.
The coast guard said the helicopter was navigating based on GPS and changed direction when the weather became cloudy during the observation. Initial information is that there were more than three people inside the helicopter. The special commissioner also directed to examine whether they had taken pictures of the shrine.
