Heart of brain dead youth to be airlifted to Kochi from Thiruvananthapuram; Amal to give new life to six 

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The heart of a 25-year-old youth will be airlifted to Kochi from Thiruvananthapuram. The heart of brain dead Amal Babu (25) will be airlifted to Kochi. The heart is being taken for 33-year-old of Malappuram admitted at a private hospital in Ernakulam.

Amal Babu met with an accident the other day. Amal Babu's other organs will be given to six more people. His liver, pancreas and kidney are being donated. The heart will be taken to Kochi by air ambulance around 10 am after the surgery at KIMS is completed.
