
THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Tantri Kandararu Rajeevaru, who was arrested in the Sabarimala gold robbery case, has been admitted to the ICU of the Medical College. He was initially admitted to the General Hospital after he fell unwell in the Thiruvananthapuram Special Sub-Jail. After undergoing tests there, he was taken to the Medical College. The heads of the Medicine Department and Cardiology Department at the Medical College examined the Thantri.
Tantri has been admitted to the ICU as per their recommendation. A decision regarding his discharge will be taken only after the detailed report of the doctors comes. It is clear from the tests that the Tantri has high blood pressure and diabetes. Tantri had requested to see a doctor while having breakfast in jail this morning. Although the doctor visited the jail to examine him, he was taken to the General Hospital by 12 noon.
Meanwhile, the SIT conducted a special inspection at Kandararu Rajeevaru's house in Chengannur. The inspection was led by a team led by DySP Suresh Babu. The aim was to find more documents and evidence related to the case. The goldsmith was also brought to the Thantri's house for inspection.
