KOZHIKODE: The Child Rights Commission has filed a case against the YouTube channel that filmed the reaction of the son of Arjun, the lorry driver who went missing in the Shirur landslide in Karnataka. The action was taken on the complaint of Sinil Das, a native of Palakkad. The complaint says that the anchor behaved indecently with the child.
The district police chief has been instructed to investigate and submit a report based on the complaint. The channel owner will be given a notice tomorrow. A case has been filed against the anchor and the channel. The complaint states that the anchor has committed an offence coming under the POCSO section. The channel has been heavily criticized for filming Arjun's son's reaction.
