Kerala logs 12,161 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, 155 deaths

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The state confirmed 12,161 COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Among these, 11,413 persons developed the disease through contact, including 598 cases without an identified source of infection. 64 persons, who came from outside the state, tested positive for the virus. 86 health workers contracted the disease on Wednesday.

17,862 patients tested negative for the virus today. As of now, there are 1,43,500 active cases in the state.

The state confirmed 155 deaths due to the virus on Wednesday with the toll rising to 24,965.

Thrissur 1541, Ernakulam 1526, Thiruvananthapuram 1282, Kozhikode 1275, Malappuram 1017, Kottayam 886, Kollam 841, Palakkad 831, Kannur 666, Alappuzha 647, Idukki 606, Pathanamthitta 458, Wayanad 457, Kasargod 128.
