THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The KPCC leadership meeting has decided to urgently complete the reorganization of Congress constituency presidents, which has been delayed due to the Puthupally by-elections. Along with this, the reorganization of those who are in charge of booth committees and block office will also be completed.
The meeting congratulated Chandy Oommen, who achieved a record victory in Puthupally, and the people who supported him in this brilliant victory. The meeting considered the loss of more than 12,000 votes by the LDF as a sign of a political shift in favour of the UDF.
It has also been decided to commence the construction work of the K Karunakaran Foundation immediately.
The role of the CPM in the conspiracy against former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy should be investigated. Dallal Nandakumar who was once an enemy of Pinarayi, later became a close associate of Pinarayi. The CPM's involvement in this financial deal is also evident. The complainant has disclosed that she was offered 10 crores to testify against the UDF leaders. This transaction should also be thoroughly investigated. The Chief Minister has remained silent about Ganesh Kumar, the source of the allegations.
The Chief Minister's delayed response to the month-long controversy stems from his defensiveness. The names of the CM's family members have also been implicated in the AI camera and K Fon projects. An investigation by the Enforcement Directorate is warranted against the Chief Minister and his family. Their covert association with the BJP shields the Chief Minister from central agencies. This relationship is also linked to the prolongation of the Lavalin case. Two individuals were appointed in Delhi at government expense to establish connections with the BJP.
The CPM leadership is shielding A C Moideen in the Karuvannur bank fraud fearing that collusion will come to light. The meeting also expressed concerns about the mysterious role of former Alathur MP and CPM State Secretariat member P K Biju.
Present at the KPCC meeting were KPCC President K Sudhakaran, Working President Kodikunnil Suresh, Leader of Opposition V D Satheesan, Ramesh Chennithala, KPCC office in-charges, Executive Committee members and DCC Presidents.
