BHOPAL: Shocking visuals of robbery at former Guwahati High Court judge Ramesh Garg emerged yesterday. The video is now being discussed on social media. A masked gang robbed lakhs of rupees, gold and other valuables while the owners continued in their slumber, unaware of the happenings.

The robbers, reported to be experts in the crime, spent just 20 minutes in the house. They wore gloves and other protective equipment while carrying out the robbery. In the video, one robber can be seen entering the room surreptitiously while the judge continues his sleep. While pilfering the cupboard, another robber is made to guard with an iron rod and attack the Judge if he wakes up from his sleep.

Ramesh and his family were fast asleep and were unaware of the theft. If they had woken up, they would have lost their lives. On the same day, several houses in the nearby areas were robbed. The police received several visuals of organised theft.

Senior police officer Umakant Chaudhary said that special teams have been formed to investigate the incident. Considering the seriousness of the crimes, multiple investigation teams were formed. The police are questioning several suspects. Chaudhary also said that a detailed investigation will be conducted and the culprits will be arrested soon.
