Malayali girl found dead in hostel in Rajasthan, reason unknown, say relatives

KANNUR: A Malayali girl was found hanging in a hostel in Rajasthan. She has been identified as Pooja (23) of Parvathy Nivas at Kavinmoola Midavilod. She was a third-year student of Sreeganga Nagar Government Veterinary College in Rajasthan. Her relatives said the cause of death is still not clear.

The girl committed suicide at her hostel on November 28. The body brought home yesterday has been laid to rest in Payyambalam. Her mother Sindhu, is an employee of AES English Medium School and father is Vasanthan. Pooja was their only daughter.
