Name missing in voters list; No vote for Mammootty this time too

KOCHI: As actor Mammootty’s name is missing in the voters list, he was not able to cast his vote this time for the local body polls. His wife Sulfath’s name is in the list. The actor and his family were earlier staying in Panampilly Nagar.

Mammootty and his family had relocated to Ernakulam before the last local body polls. He was not able to cast vote in the local body polls. However, in the last assembly and Lok Sabha polls, he was able to cast his vote in Ponnurunni CKC LP School. Mammootty is one of the actors, who usually keeps all his busy schedule apart and cast his vote.

Meantime, many including actor Asif Ali exercised his vote. He is a voter of the 17th ward of Thodupuzha Municipality. Actress and anchor Meenakshy shared her happiness on social media after casting vote. She posted the picture of her inked finger on social media.

Actress Chippy and her producer husband Renjith casted their votes at the LP School in Jawahar Nagar in the capital city. Union Minister Suresh Gopi and his family voted in Sasthamangalam. He said that will take Thiruvananthapuram this time.
