CHERTHALA: SNDP Yogam General Secretary Vellappally Natesan said that the NDA front is the lucky charm of LDF. He was inaugurating the Gurunarayana Dharmasamanwaya Shibiram and Guru Purnima celebrations organized by Gurunarayana Sevanikethan Trust at Yogam Cherthala Union Hall.

After the NDA entered the fight, LDF won many constituencies in the state where the UDF had been winning for ages. The victory for the LDF is due to the NDA capturing the votes of the UDF in a strong triangular contest in the constituencies. People including MV Govindan are talking without understanding this. MV Govindan attacked SNDP Yogam and Sree Narayana movements after becoming CPM state secretary. He does not know what SNDP Yogam is, its style and function. Whereas party secretary Kodiyeri Balakrishnan had a special ability to bring all communities together.

It is true that the backward Ezhava caste groups have been left behind in the political divide. It is not right to ignore the base class which is the lifeblood of LDF. Now they are trying the method of saving themselves by throwing the old lady into the water when the boat is sinking. They are trying to attack me collectively for telling the truth. LDF had to face a big setback in Alappuzha when Arif, who had no popular connection and did not even have the support of the district committee, was fielded.- said Vellappally Natesan.

Cherthala Union Administrator T Aniyappan presided. Shibiram message was delivered by Councilor PT Manmathan. Ambalapuzha Union President P Haridas, Adoor Union Administrator Adv Mannadi Mohanan, Cherthala Region Chairman KP Natarajan, Panavally Region Chairman KL Asokan, Aroor Region Convenor KM Manilal, Cherthala Region Vice Chairmen PG Ravindran, PD Gagarin, Region Committee Member JP Vinod, Trust Secretary T Sunil Kumar, Trustee CI Sivaraman New Delhi spoke. Seva Niketan Trustee TS Rajendraprasad gave the welcome speech and Sanand Cherthala gave the vote of thanks. In the Gurunarayana Dharmasamanwaya Shibiram that followed, Acharya Krishnapai presented the topic of Lord Vedavyasan and Sri Narayana Mamuni. K.N.Balaji performed Guruvandanam.
