KOCHI: A 15-year-old Nepali student has achieved remarkable success by securing A+ in all subjects in the state SSLC examination. Siddhath Chhetri, a student of Irumbanam Vocational Higher Secondary School in Ernakulam, earned top grades, including in Malayalam.
"'Roshni' is a project launched by the Ernakulam district administration to improve the language proficiency of students coming from other states and studying in schools in the district. As part of this initiative, Siddhath improved his Malayalam. His outstanding success is the result of his hard work," Headmaster Reni VK said.
Siddhath studied at a school in Kodamkulangara from Class 1 to 7. He joined Irumbanam VHSS in Class 8. His brother, who was also a student at the same school, had previously secured A+ in all subjects in the SSLC exam. Siddhath's family has been residing in Kerala for over 14 years. His father works as an attendant at Varma Hospital in Thrippunithura, while his mother is employed at a supermarket.
