THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that Kerala Kaumudi is the voice of loyalty in the media sector of the country. He added that Kerala Kaumudi has been reflecting the hopes, culture and voice of the people of Kerala for decades and has become the voice of the soul of the people. The Union Home Minister was inaugurating the 'New India, New Kerala' conclave organised by Kerala Kaumudi at Hotel Lemontree. The conclave was organised as part of the 114th anniversary celebrations of Kerala Kaumudi.

"I sincerely thank Kerala Kaumudi for organizing the 'New India, New Kerala' debate based on the concept of 'Developed India' of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Development is the need of Kerala. Kerala needs a comprehensive and inclusive development model with the participation of every citizen. The beliefs of everyone should be protected regardless of religion or sect. Along with a developed Kerala, there should be a safe Kerala."

"A corruption-free government will be implemented in Kerala if the NDA is given a chance to rule once. Services will be provided to everyone without discrimination. Development will be implemented without considering vote bank politics. If Kerala received Rs 72,000 crore during the UPA regime from 2004 to 2014, the Centre gave Rs 3.23 lakh crore from 2014 to 2025. This much money was given to Kerala ruled by Pinarayi. Alappuzha, Kochi, Kannur, Kollam, Kochi, Kozhikode, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram and Guruvayur railway stations were developed under the Amrit Bharat project."

"Thiruvananthapuram and Kochi cities have been included in the Smart City Mission. They are still spreading false propaganda that Modi is ignoring Kerala. It is the Pinarayi government that is neglecting Kerala. The Centre is ready for the development of Kerala under Modi's leadership," Amit Shah said.

Alliance protects corrupt

Amit Shah said that the Left and Right Fronts are in alliance to protect the corrupt. "343 crores were looted from cooperative banks. There is no serious investigation into this. There was no serious investigation into the AI camera scam, the Life Mission scam, or the PPE kit scam. There was no investigation in any of the scams including the solar scam during the UDF era."

The function was presided over by Kerala Kaumudi Chief Editor Deepu Ravi. Ranjith Karthikeyan made the introductory presentation. BJP State President Rajiv Chandrasekhar, Kerala Prabhari Prakash Javadekar, former Union Minister V. Muraleedharan, General Secretaries Anoop Antony, S. Suresh, Kerala Kaumudi Joint Managing Director Darshan Ravi and others were present. Amit Shah presented the Kerala Kaumudi Excellence Award to R.
