No change in VS’ health condition; hospital releases medical bulletin

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The medical bulletin released says there is no change in the health condition of former chief minister V S Achuthanandan undergoing treatment following heart attack. He is in the intensive care unit with the help of a ventilator. Hospital authorities said that his health condition is being closely monitored and treatment is continuing under the supervision of a special medical team of specialists.

VS was admitted to the SUT Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram on Monday following heart attack. The cardiology, neurology and nephrology departments are treating him jointly. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan had visited him yesterday.
