'No legal action against Shine, change needed in films’: Vincy to cooperate with probe

KOCHI: Actress Vincy Aloshious has reiterated that she is not willing to proceed legally in the incident of actor Shine Tom Chacko misbehaving with her on a film set. While talking to the media, she said that she will cooperate if there are investigations and that she is firm in her stand of not proceeding legally. Vincy was talking to the media after the inauguration of Bhima Jewellery's new showroom.

'I will cooperate in investigations if there are any. I do not want to proceed legally in connection with it. Necessary steps will be taken from the film itself. Such things should not happen in the film industry. That is what I want,' said Vincy. She refused to respond to Mala Parvathy's comments on the issue.

Vincy said that she will attend the internal committee’s (IC) meeting of the film Soothravakyam and they will examine the veracity of the complaint she filed. All I can say is that they will take action after that. I want a change in the film industry and that is why I stick to my stand, she said.

Meanwhile, producer Srikanth Kandragula of Soothravakyam has levelled allegations against Vincy and Shine Tom Chacko. He told media that Vincy and Shine Tom Chacko are not cooperating with the promotion of the film. He also said that this is badly affecting the movie. He said that he had spoken to Vincy. He informed that Vincy had told some on the sets about the issue related to Shine. However, he added that she did not mention to whom she said.
