No liquor for two days; beverages to down shutters by 7 pm

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There will be no liquor sales in Kerala for the next two days. All BEVCO outlets in the state will be closed by 7 pm today. The outlets are closed for taking stock. The next two days will be completely dry days. The holiday is because tomorrow is the first day of the month and October 2 is Gandhi Jayanti. BEVCO outlets and all liquor shops including bars will remain closed on these days. Bars can operate till 11 pm tonight.
