
KOCHI: The forensic report in the drug case against actor Shine Tom Chacko is out. No traces of drugs were detected in the blood samples of the actor. The forensic examination could not prove it. The report in this regard was released yesterday. The case is that Shine and his friend took a room in a hotel and used drugs. Shine running out of the hotel during the DANSAF inspection had turned a controversy. Shine was later held and questioned for several hours. However, there is no evidence for Shine using drugs that day.
Meantime, the excise had clarified that Shine Tom Chacko was not involved in the Alappuzha hybrid ganja case. The police questioned Shine to clarify his financial transactions with Taslima Sultana, who was arrested in the case. Taslima was arrested from Alappuzha in April with hybrid ganja worth Rs two crore.
Taslima's husband was also arrested in the incident. The excise had also found that her husband Sultan had links with drug trafficking. The investigation revealed that Sultan has a mobile shop in Chennai and regularly visits places like Malaysia to bring goods. The excise department has concluded that Sultan brought the hybrid ganja from Malaysia. The excise department had also collected statements from 25 people. Shine Tom Chacko had earlier stated that he does not use hybrid ganga and has no drug dealings with Taslima.
