Oommen Chandy receives immunotherapy at HCG Hospital in Bengaluru

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Former Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, who was admitted to HCG Hospital in Bengaluru, has begun immunotherapy treatment on Tuesday. This treatment method is to boost the body's immune system, without other side effects. Therapy should be done once in two weeks.

A spread scan of Oommen Chandy's cancer was also done yesterday. The doctors informed the family members that the illness is not very serious. According to the medical report, chemotherapy was avoided considering his age and health condition.

Oommen Chandy is being monitored by a special expert team including senior doctors of the hospital led by an oncologist. His son Chandy Oommen said that all his physical discomforts have gone.
