Posted visuals of voting on Instagram; Youth Congress leader booked

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A Youth Congress leader posted a video on Instagram showing him casting a vote on the Electronic Voting Machine in the local body elections. The police registered a case against SS Saidali, a native of Nedumangad Kaipadi, who recorded the video of himself voting for party candidates in the three-tier panchayat. The case was registered by the Nedumangad police.

Saidali filmed his own vote in the local body elections held on Tuesday and shared it on social media. SS Saidali is the Youth Congress Thiruvananthapuram district vice president. A case was registered against him after the Election Commission filed a complaint with the cyber police regarding the incident, along with the footage.
