Private bus rams into car; Kerala Congress (M) leader Stephen George injured

KOTTAYAM: Kerala Congress (M) leader Stephen George’s car met with an accident on Saturday. The incident occurred at Kaduthuruthy when he was stepping out of the car. A private bus coming from behind rammed into the vehicle. The bus continued to move forward with the crashed car for about 50 metres before stopping. The bus driver then fled the scene.

The accident happened around 4 p.m. Stephen George was trapped inside the car after the impact. He is currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital, and reports say his injuries are not serious. The rear part of the car was completely damaged in the collision.
