Rahul fled in actor’s car, confirms police; actress to be grilled

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The police confirmed that Rahul Mamkootathil MLA fled in an actress’ Volkswagen Polo Car. Reports say that in this situation, the investigating team will soon question the actress, the owner of the car. The move is to summon her after issuing a notice. This actress maintains a close bond with Rahul MLA. There are hints that the police contacted her via phone.

This car was in Palakkad from last Wednesday onwards. Th investigating team got vital information after questioning Rahul Mamkootathil’s personal staff and driver. The team had earlier got information about the car used by Rahul to flee. The team also suspect that Rahul’s friend Joby Joseph, the second accused in the case, is also with him.
