Rapper Vedan chosen for first Priyadarsini award of Rs one lakh

THRISSUR: The first Priyadarsini Award of Priyadarsini Public Library will be given to rapper Vedan. The award comprises a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh. The award will be presented to Vedan by Parliament Public Accounts Chairman K C Venugopal MP at a function to be held at Snehatheeram at 4 pm on June 19.

The award is given to Vedan for sharing the politics of the new era with the society. Shafi Parambil MP, Rahul Mamkootathil MLA and C Mukundan MLA will participate as chief guests at the award ceremony.
