Sabarimala gold theft; Devaswom Board questions former executive officer

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The former executive officer of the Devaswom Board is being questioned in the Sabarimala gold theft case. Sudheesh Kumar is being questioned by the special investigation team. The investigation team has recovered documents of the gold plating of the shrine from the Thiruvananthapuram Devaswom Board headquarters. It has 420 pages.

Murari Babu, the second accused arrested in the gold robbery case, has been remanded. He has been remanded till November 13. The Special Investigation Team had not sought custody. Murari Babu will be taken to prison soon.

The court had earlier remanded Murari Babu in judicial custody for two weeks. Following this, the Special Investigation Team (SIT) sought four days' custody. The SIT produced him in court today after the end of his custody.
