School bus collides with car in Kazhakootam; one person seriously injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: In a major accident, a school bus collided with a car in Kazhakootam, Thiruvananthapuram. The car was entering the national highway from the service road when the school bus rammed into it. The bus belongs to a private school in Chenkottukonam. The car driver sustained serious injuries in the crash.

The injured person has been identified as Alexander (72), a native of Menamkulam in Kazhakootam. He has been admitted to a private hospital in Kazhakootam. Two students on the bus suffered minor injuries. The accident occurred at around 4 p.m. The impact pushed the car a long distance. Kazhakkoottam Police have registered a case in connection with the incident.
